Annual Sports events and other football activities have been a very successful story. The events are used to gather communities and mostly target youth to alleviate idleness and antisocial behaviour by engaging and empowering them on issues of health, mental health, unemployment, identity . They also help nurture young talents by giving them exposure to other professional sports institutions. Events are organised in the form of interactive workshops and video clips. Last year’s event attracted 17 teams both men and ladies and all of them received football uniforms and trophies for winners in different categories. Thanks to sports kits donations from UK and well wishers . We had other fascinating games of tug of war, volleyball, head balancing with bottle, egg on spoon, speed eating and sack race. Future events will even be bigger and better. Local schools have benefitted from this programme and so far 6 primary schools have received football uniforms and balls in the past two years.
